When needed we use the Forte range of additives (these include oil flush, petrol and diesel injection cleaners among other products) to help improve your car's performance and economy. We also stock most popular battery sizes from the Bosch Range. 

We are able to undertake both traditional and computer based diagnostics on a wide variety of makes and models enabling swifter repair.

All cars in the UK From 2000 onwards should conform to the OBD-2 diagnostic standards. This is not limited to just the Engine management but can also extend to the braking, heating and many other systems found on modern cars. Our equipment allows us to track down and repair faults in these systems, reset service indicators, clear engine management Malfunction Indicator Lamps ( MIL ).

Cars prior to 2000 may conform to OBD-2. Whilst it is unlikely on cars prior to 1996 we can usually interogate the Manufacturer specific diagnostic systems (Please contact us to find out) we should still be able to effect a repair regardless. 

For Vauxhall  and  Saab  we also have a GM specific Tech2 diagnostic system allowing us to access more advanced functions within the computer systems such as the reprogramming of Immobiliser keys.

MIL and Service Indicator Lamps and Oil Change lamps have become much more common on cars in the last 15 years and should not be ignored failure to properly service your car could lead to much higher repair bills.

We are an approved VOSA Class 4 testing station. Our state of the art Inspection ramp and brake machine enables us to provide a 1st class MOT service for Cars and Light Commercials. Please phone, E-mail or drop in to make an appointment.

We can undertake most aspects of repair to MOT standard as required in  our garage facilities should rectification work be required. 

We specialise in the service and repair of faults in Antilock Braking Systems ( ABS ) and general braking issues. We can diagnose system faults in most ABS systems including ATE Teves and Bendix as found on the majority of cars in the UK.

We can carry out braking work as part of a general service or brake service on its own. Regular servicing will ensure the systems remain in safe working order, help optimise performance and hopefully avoid costly damage to the braking system.

We have a brake lathe that allows us to skim disks on the car and "true" them to the hub rotation, taking out pitting, warping and other minor damage which in many cases will save money over having disks replaced.

We are now fitted out with our A/C equipment.

Air Conditioning or AirCon has become standard on most of today's production
cars with around 70% of cars benefiting from it.

It is recommended that your aircon system is inspected and the refrigerant
pressure checked on a regular basis as all systems leak a small amount of gas
over time. The lubricant for the system also needs topping up, these items can be done as part
of our normal vehicle service routines or as a separate A/C Service.

We provide servicing, diagnostics, re-gassing and repair of AirCon systems. In some cases we can
convert old systems running R12 to modern R134a CFC free refrigerant restoring cooling on older
cars. Where needed we will also replace the pollen filters.

We can also de-odurise your system using special anti-bacterial agents to clear out the ventilation
ducts (Please ask about this service)

Our tyre fitting bay is fully equipped to change all types of tyre on car, 4x4 and light commercial vehicles.

Wheel Alignment ( tracking , toe, camber and castor where applicable on vehicle ) 
Evaluation of condition. We  are happy to evaluate and report on the condition of your tyres. It is recommended that tyres are replaced after 10 years.

Lost your locking nut key? A common occurrence that we can usually resolve without damage to the wheels. We can supply replacement standard or locking nuts.

Incorrect wheel alignment, such as tracking faults can lead to rapid and dangerous tyre wear, as well as poor handling and poor economy. The cost of an alignment check is significantly cheaper than replacing tyres.
