ABOUT US

Cecil Street Auto Repairs (CSAR) is an Independent garage established in 2010 in the former AutoWindscreens building in Cecil Street near the centre of Carlisle. The well known building was also used in the 80s By the Davidsons' Lada garage and dealership before they moved to a new garage in Rosehill and gained the Proton dealership franchise.

CSAR is run by David Mason and Mark Wilson. We have been in the Garage and Vehicle Service trade in and  arround Carlisle, Cumbria and the Isle of Man for many years.

Our aim is to provide a quality, friendly and professional service to all our customers no mater what the make, model or age of their vehicle.

Our very competitive labour rate is £37.50 per hour ex vat. We believe we are probably the
cheapest garage in the city centre area of Carlisle. We are vastly cheaper than main
dealer labour rates, and under EU law you are not obliged to have your car serviced by
the dealer to maintain your warranty backup.  




 
OPENING HOURS

Our normal opening hours.

Monday - Thursday :  8:00AM to 6:00PM

Friday :  8:00AM to 5:00PM

Saturday :  Currently Open By Appointment. Please Ring.

Sunday :  Closed

OUR FACILITIES

Our workshop is currently fitted with a pair of two post chassis lifts. We have on hand all items for normal servicing.


Our brand new MOT ramp & Rollers and tyre fitting and balancing equipment was fitted in mid 2010.


There is ample parking on our concourse area outside main reception. The building also benefits from having twin workshop doors which allows easy movement of vehicles in and out of the garage. 


Our reception and waiting area is flanked by the office on one side and the staff room on the other.


Finally we have our store room to the back of the site.
